At the Word of Truth Baptist Church in Attleboro our special services are those that are not on a fixed repeating schedule. They will be announced in the church bulletin as they occur. As we stress the importance of assembling ourselves together for the sake of exhorting and encouraging one another, we try not to over burden everyone's schedules with too many meetings, but we do expect those who keep company with us to view service attendance as part of their service to others and holding fast their profession of faith.
Church Fellowship – The first Sunday of every month, our congregation meets together after the Sunday morning service for a meal and fellowship. On these Sundays the evening Prayer & Missions Service follows immediately after the fellowship in the afternoon rather than the evening. This allows our people to fellowship with friends and family, and to meet those they do not know. (Prov 18:24, Rom 12:13)
Prayer Meetings - Our Men's & Women's prayer meetings are held at various times and in different places. The times and places will be announced in the bulletin. (Col 4:2; 1 Tim 2:8)
Bible Conferences - Occasionally we will have a special preacher come in for an extended meeting, lasting anywhere from 1 to 7 days.
